For insurance go to messa.org on the lower right menu click on ABC Plan.
e-dues go to www.MEA.org
Go to Members Only Login
(left menu) My Transactions/E-Dues
(small, blue lettering on top) create or reset your login and password.
("Primary city" is the city where you live. i.e. Portage, Ceresco, etc.
Once you create your account, you will be able to see what your total annual dues are.
As for Public School Retirement - Make your selection - go to www.michigan.gov/ors and go to miaccount. The deadline is January 8, 2013 and your selection goes into effect February 1, 2013.

However, realize that "the average primary -school teacher in the United States earns about 67 percent of the salary of an average college-educated worker in the United States." "The average upper secondary teacher earns 72 percent of the salary for the average college-educated worker in the United States."
